ACADEMIC YEAR 2008/09

To continue booking you must accept the terms and conditions


Please note the following terms and conditions:


1. An on-line application for accommodation must be followed up by paying a booking deposit of €300 either by cheque/draft or by credit transfer. Banking details are provided below. Applications are processed on a strictly "first come, first served" basis.

2. Each on-line booking will be "approved". This is not a confirmed booking, rather it is an acknowledgement that an application has been made. A final confirmation will be issued when the deposit is received. If all places are filled in the interim, Seven North Mall is not obliged to provide accommodation. Final confirmation of the booking will be issued by electronic mail.

3. Please note that this is an application for accommodation and not a contractual agreement. Seven North Mall Student accommodation complex, acting through its management reserves the right to decline an application.

4. Applications are accepted for the entire occupancy period Monday 1st September 2008 to Monday 1st June 2009 only. Should a tenant vacate the room before the termination date, rent will only be refunded if the room is re-let. The security deposit will not be refunded. Tenants are liable for the rent if the room is not re-let.

5. Any student who takes up residence and is subsequently offered a 2nd round/3rd round offer in another University will not be refunded their deposit. The balance of their rent will be refunded as soon as the room is re-let to another student. In the event that the room is not re-let then the rent is not refunded.

6. All choices here are preferences, they are not guarantees. We will endeavor to provide you with your preference however this may not always be possible, i.e. we do not guarantee who your room mates will be, we do not guarantee that you will get an en-suite until your booking is confirmed.

7. Any student who is in "twin room" accommodation must accept that Management reserves the right to refill any vacant beds as they see fit.

Cancellation/Confirmation

8. Cancellation or confirmation of your booking must be made via email to arrive before 29th August 2008. Cancellation before or on this date will result in Seven North Mall retaining €100 as an administration fee. Canceling after this date results in the total loss of the booking fee.

Contract for Accommodation

9. A lease agreement and invoice will be issued in August 2008. The agreement must be signed and returned with the outstanding rent and a utilities charge of €450 by Friday 29th August 2008.

Payment Schedule

10. Payment for accommodation is expected to be paid in one installment.

11. Payment in two installments attracts a €25.00 penalty per installment due to increased administration costs

12. If paying in two installments the payment dates are Friday 29th August 2008 for installment one and Monday 8th December 2008 for installment two. If monies have not been received Seven North Mall reserves the right to invalidate the application.

Cheque (only euro cheques drawn on Irish bank account are acceptable), payable to SEVEN NORTH MALL. Bank Draft, (only euro cheques drawn on an Irish bank are acceptable), payable to SEVEN NORTH MALL.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

14. Information on this application form is for the information of applicants, and may be subject to change. It does not constitute a contract or part thereof between Seven North Mall student accommodation complex and a student.
